Dance Therapy Group for Adults & Young Adults with Special Needs
Dance Movement Therapy group sessions for Adults with Special Needs (including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, cognitive delays, other disabilities).
Participate in a fun and therapeutic dance/movement group which will foster social connections and emotional literacy through creative and expressive dance/movement-based activities; co-create meaningful shared experience in the community; and support individual self-expression. Sessions will be drop-in, to enable a wide range of participants to enjoy the sessions.
Tuesdays 1.30-2.30pm: Pearce Hall, 1 Pearce Street (behind Onehunga Community Centre). Runs during school term time (8 week sessions). Cost: Gold Coin Koha.
Fridays*10:00am – 11:00am: MPHS Hubwest, 27 Corban Ave, Henderson. Runs during school term time (8 week sessions). Cost: Gold Coin Koha.
