Drum for Fun is an interactive group programme which provides young people with the opportunity to connect with peers and have fun. Drum for Fun uses drumming, rhythm and body percussion to support young people, with or without ASD, to develop emotional awareness and confidence in social interaction. Ages 10 plus.}

Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre
The Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre has now been in operation for over nine years. Over this time they have worked with hundreds of children and young people with special needs to make a significant and permanent difference in their lives. Several of the children they are working with have been going to their Centre in Grey Lynn for several years, while others are able to access music therapy sessions via one of their Outreach programmes in the wider Auckland community.
Fun interactive music sessions that involves the use of world instruments such as drums, didgeridoo, shakers plus singing, dancing & games. Part of the session is a call and answer, everyone gets to play along and also lead the rest of the group.
