See and Learn First Sentences is the fourth step in the See and Learn Language and Reading programme – a series of activities specially developed to help children who have Down syndrome learn to talk and to read.

Item Description
See and Learn First Sentences uses reading as support to language development. It will help your child learn to read 16 new written words, to review a further 8 written words, and also to develop his/her understanding and use of 16 sentences containing three ‘key’ content words. The See and Learn First Sentences pack contains a guidebook including detailed instructions for each of the four activities in this step, record sheets to track progress through the activities, picture cards, word cards, sentence cards, matching picture boards, and reading books to use in the activities.
