2 and 3 March 2020

Bookings are now open for our next ADSA Success in School education course.
Please disregard the previously advertised date that was incorrect.

This course provides a wealth of information for teachers, teacher aides, SENCOs, specialist staff and parents/family/whanau – about different approaches that can be used to ensure children with Down Syndrome and well supported and engaged in their education and can reach their highest potential. Over 2 days you will hear from a variety of speakers on topics from learning profiles, inclusion, use of visual supports, numeracy, literacy and how to adapt the curriculum, narrative assessment, and behaviour and friendships.

This course is not to be missed. If you have a child starting school soon, or already at school we encourage you to attend – and very importantly, to encourage your school to attend too. Many schools come back year after year because the learnings are so valuable.

HELP US TO HELP YOU We would like to directly reach out to the school that your child is at, or will be attending. Please help by sending the name of the school, contact person (or people) and their email addresses directly to clo@adsa.org.nz.
